At Cross Creek, we believe that all of life is to be lived as worship “as unto the Lord”. Colossians 3:17 says “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
That said our Sunday morning worship service is about helping people get a clear understanding of who God is and what he has done through his Son. In so doing we also seek to give worshipers the opportunity to respond authentically to Him. God delights it when we respond to him out of hearts that genuinely love Him.
Our Worship services are first and foremost for God’s enjoyment and therefore they are centered on Him. Interestingly, as we make it all about Him, He speaks to that deeper part of our being and fills us with joy, hope, faith, and love.
While our style is somewhat contemporary, our desire is not to put on a slick show but authentically respond to a truly awesome God. Our worship team, which is made up of some excellent instrumentalists and vocalists, do not see themselves as performers but lead worshipers.
While youth and adults worship in the auditorium, children through 5th grade have the option to go to a worship experience designed just for them.
