Looking to get connected? The Young Adult Ministry at Cross Creek is for those in their 20′s that purposes to connect people to each other and to the life of the church through Life Groups, Mercy Ministry and Social Events.

Life Group:   The Young Adult Life Group meets for the purpose of building authentic, Christ-centered community. In a culture that is becoming increasingly isolated and individualistic, this group provides a means of growth in God’s Word, prayer, and encouragement in your walk with Christ.

Our Kickoff meeting for 2012 is Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 pm.  We’ll study Crave:  An Exploration of the Human Spirit by Erwin McManus.  The author contends we all have cravings. And while many of those cravings can be satisfied, there are some that go much deeper. These soul cravings are much more difficult to satisfy even though we may try with our various forms of medications: from television and sports to food and alcohol.

Crave contends that all of our soul cravings can be traced to three distinct areas of longing: intimacy, destiny, meaning. In this context, Erwin McManus wonders aloud if a healthier, more God-honoring examination of our soul cravings won t contribute to a life more alive and healthy.
